In the summer, the club plays in a competition run by the Metropolitan South West District Cricket Association (also known as MSW). During the winter, teams usually play in a competition organised by the Warehouse Cricket Association.
For Super 7s to under 12, games are played on a concrete wicket covered by synthetic grass. For under 13 and up, games are usually played on turf wickets. For games that are played on turf wickets, players are to wear cricket shoes with spikes.
All home games are played at local venues that are either leased or sub-leased by the club. The club invests a lot of time and money into venue maintenance and upgrades so that our members can play and train at high-quality venues. To find out which local venues we use, click here.
The rules and format vary for each competition. To download a copy of the rules for the MSW competition, click here.
The Kenmore Cricket Club will again enter senior teams in the Queensland Sub Districts Cricket Association competition after our inaugural senior team entry in season 2014-15. During the winter, a team is also entered in a competition organised by the Warehouse Cricket Association.
